The NC Pollinator Conservation Alliance (https://www.ncpollinatoralliance.org/) is hosting a field day at State Farmers Market on August 22 from 930am-1pm.  Come and join other organizations in educating the public on pollinators and their roles in pollination.  We will set up an informal booth with honey bee related information and need a handful of volunteers.  Will you join us?

Pollinator Field Day!! We’re excited to invite you to our annual Pollinator Field Day –– on August 22nd, 2025 from 10:00am – 1:00 pm. Come learn about pollinators and the native habitat they rely on for survival. This is an interactive day where you will catch insects with nets (if you choose!), talk with experts, and learn about conservation and community science projects.

We will have many educational booths hosted by the NC Pollinator Conservation Alliance, NCSU Bee Campus, NCSU Applied Ecology Department, Wake County Beekeepers Association, the NC Wildlife Federation, the NC Wildlife Resources Commission, the NC Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, the Southeast Bumble Bee Atlas, Duke Gardens, and more!

We will have light refreshments as well as native plants to send home with participants. This is a FREE event, and all are welcome to attend. You won't want to miss it!.
