The 3rd Saturday of each month, starting in March, Ben Crawley will be working the Carya Drive Hives. Time is 11:00 am. Anyone is welcome to come and participate or observe. In case of rain – we will not be working the hives.
The State fair is quickly approaching: October 14-24. We need volunteers to set up the Wake County display booth, work at the NCSBA honey sales stand, and work at the educational display areas. Volunteer shifts vary from a few hours to all day. Any amount of help is welcomed and needed.

This one-of-a-kind exhibit offers a great introduction to honeybees, beekeeping and to the role of beneficial insects in general. Bug Fest is on September 11th 8:00 am – 4: 00 pm. We need volunteers for 2 time shifts options and 2 volunteer stations. Time shifts available are 8:00 am -12:00 pm and 12:00 pm-4:00 pm (Your Choice). The volunteer stations are food and educational (Your Choice).
