Hives at Carya Drive
The 3rd Saturday of each month, starting in March, Ben Crawley will be working the Carya Drive Hives. Time is 11:00 am. Anyone is welcome to come and participate or observe. In case of rain – we will not be working the hives.

The State fair is quickly approaching: October 14-24. We need volunteers to set up the Wake County display booth, work at the NCSBA honey sales stand, and work at the educational display areas. Volunteer shifts vary from a few hours to all day. Any amount of help is welcomed and needed.
The wonderful new honeybee garden exhibit at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro is proving to be very popular with the zoo-going public. This one-of-a-kind exhibit offers a great introduction to honeybees, beekeeping and to the role of beneficial insects in general. Bug Fest is on September 11th 8:00 am – 4: 00 pm. We need volunteers for 2 time shifts options and 2 volunteer stations. Time shifts available are 8:00 am -12:00 pm and 12:00 pm-4:00 pm (Your Choice). The volunteer stations are food and educational (Your Choice).
