Join us on Tuesday night at the Wake County Commons Building, upper level conference room to fellowship with other beekeepers and enjoy an evening with Beekeeper Jason Cirioli. Jason has a long background in Pollinator landscape design, structural extraction, raising bees, beekeeping instruction and consultation. He will cover Summer/Fall Preparations and also have a Q&A afterwards, so be thinking of your questions. The gathering begins at 7 pm and the meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
July 15 “Hands on in the Hive” with Ben Crawley
The next “Hands on in the Hive” with Ben Crawley is Sunday, July 15 at 1:00 pm . This monthly program is part of our educational outreach. All are welcome to attend. It is generally held each 3rd Sunday beginning 1:00 pm at the Historic Oak View Park at the beehives near the demonstration cotton field. Anyone who needs practical instruction and/or needs to take the practical portion of the Certified Beekeeper test is encouraged to attend. Additionally, the written practical test will be offered upon request.
